Analeng is committed to ensuring that everyone who acts on our behalf adheres to our values and rules of behavior. These are clearly articulated in the Analeng Code of Conduct, which underscores Analeng’s commitment to social and environmental responsibility within our sphere of influence.
UN Global Compact
By signing up to the UN Global Compact (UNGC), Analeng has committed itself to implementing the ten UNGC principles on human rights, labor rights, the environment, and anti-corruption. The Analeng Code of Conduct establishes clear rules of behavior in alignment with the UNGC principles. These principles guide Analeng’s conduct toward its internal and external stakeholders and form the foundation for many of our policies and guidelines, such as our Business Ethics Directive.
Principle 1: Businesses should support and respect the protection of internationally proclaimed human rights.
Principle 2: Ensure that they are not complicit in human rights abuses.
Principle 3: Uphold the freedom of association and the effective recognition of the right to collective bargaining.
Principle 4: Eliminate all forms of forced and compulsory labor.
Principle 5: Effectively abolish child labor.
Principle 6: Eliminate discrimination in respect of employment and occupation.
Principle 7: Support a precautionary approach to environmental challenges.
Principle 8: Undertake initiatives to promote greater environmental responsibility.
Principle 9: Encourage the development and diffusion of environmentally friendly technologies.
Principle 10: Work against corruption in all its forms, including extortion and bribery.
